The Task

Two archive visual-research commissions for Vogue Arabia in 2025, each sourcing a single image strong enough to anchor a feature without a photoshoot | an essay on face-altering filters and digital beauty standards, and a roundup of Riyadh's top women's wellness destinations.

The Outcome

Licensed a 1969 Keystone archive frame from Getty Images for Why I Refuse to Use Face-Altering Filters in 2025, its comically oversized eye-magnifying glasses mirroring the digital filters the essay critiques. Licensed a Graphic House archive frame from Getty Images for DND Mode: The Top Ladies Spas to Visit in Riyadh, anchoring the wellness roundup in lifestyle archive rather than contemporary spa stock.
